Contest!!! Quaggan Love <3 !!! CLOSED

This contest fresh in off the Press!   It has come to my attention, there is tension between our Brother Myron and the local Quaggan populations.  I was nearby, speaking to a merchant, when I glanced over my shoulder and saw Myron walking by, bow in hand.  Before I could yell out a greeting, I overheard a nearby Quaggan mutter under his breath, "Myroooon, Fooooooooo, Myron!"   It seems our dear Brother Myron has not seen the charismatic nature to these dear sweet Quaggans and they are most distrustful of his intentions!!!

Contest:  In whatever way you want to help show Myron the sweet cuteness of our dear little friends, let it be expressed for all to see or hear!!!! ...in particular, our dear Brother Myron! (photos, poems, music, etc...have fun and be creative)

The contest will run for two weeks and a winner and a runner up will be chosen on Saturday December 16th.  The winners will be chosen ultimately by Myron, assessed by Stirx and I(Ashlynn) by how much his heart has softened from our message of Quaggan Love!!!  Prizes to be announced.

May Myron never have to hear Fooooooo before his name again!

I hope you should all know that I love the Quaggans have every every intention on winning this. Challenge accepted.

I'm genuinely surprised that Myron doesn't like quaggans. Why? Because quaggans share many traits with puppies, which Myron loves indefinitely. Let's compare.

Both quaggans and puppies:
-are omniverous.
-have litters instead of not individual children.
-are unfailingly polite and loyal
-appear child-like but are surprisingly intelligent
-enjoy a good swim
-can be vicious when provoked
-are comfortable naked, but are known to where clothes
-compete in friendly tournaments with others of their species
-are governed by a single leader, whether in a wild pack or in the home
-have garnered sympathy from humans
-closely resemble certain Pokemon
-are freaking CUTE!

The above being said, there's really little difference between puppies and Quaggan. Logic would dictate that one either likes Quaggan, or hates puppies. Which is it, Myron?

I take "Quaggan Love" quite seriously. Well, one night, Crazy Old Cat Lady and I decided to go to the most famous Quaggan pub in Tyria: The Aquatic Boogaloo. While we were there, I foolishly challenged him to a drinking game. Needless to say, he drank me under the table. Next thing I knew, it was morning, and I was back in my own bed in Rata Sum; disoriented at how I had made it home. But that was the last I thought of it, until a few weeks later, when I received an ominous call. This crazy Quaggan chick was trying to slap a paternity suit on me! I said, "Look, you crazy orca bitch. You're Quaggan; I'm Asura. 'Nough said." I knew she'd keep harassing me, though, if I didn't set her straight. So, I humored her and gave in to her request to meet up. Not only did she prove me wrong about our reproductive compatibility (well, technically, I'm still correct as she merely absorbed the genetic material she needed from me); but it turns out that we were romantically compatible as well. We're still together to this day, and she has given me a more loving and fulfilling relationship than any Asuran woman ever has. All I'm saying, Myron, is to give them a chance. Once you go Quag, you'll never go stag.

Myron claims there is no proof of his love of Quaggans. Ha!

Once upon a time, in a magical place called Lion's Arch,  there lived a pretty, little, quaggan named Fanny. Fanny was a pink quaggan with a pretty red bow on her head. Fanny loved long walks on the beach, rum with coke, and bad boys. She could get any male quaggan she wanted, but she did not want any of them. They were too nice, gentle and boring. She liked the baddest of them all, a male human, named Myron. He had a reputation for making bad bets and ending up naked and dead (in that order). Rumor had it he had a child with another somewhere else. And, there were always naked women dancing around him around town. Let's face it, he was a chick magnet. Alas, Myron did not love her. That made Fanny very sad. She looked at him, sitting with other women around town, wondering what she could do to make him love her. She went to the Melandru Temple and prayed to Mellaggan for guidance. She received nothing back but silence.

Fanny was determined to make him love her. Then, it occurred to her, like all bad boys, maybe he only likes females who do not like him back. She put on her best, Scarlett, red lipstick and sat near him and pretended to ignore him. She sat there for a very long time. But, her attraction to him was too strong and she could not resist him anymore. She lurched at him and attached herself to his leg. "Pfffft!" he exclaimed in disgust and kicked her away to the curb. Then, he left her, lying on the pavement like road kill. He left her all alone, on the cold Lion's Arch cement, to go collecting corrupted spores for his latest flame. A little, pink tear came to the corner of her eye. "Puuuuuuuuu..." Fanny sighed sadly. Then, out of no where, a large paw reached down and lifted her up. He brushed the soot from her red bow. She looked up and saw the most magnificent sight she's ever seen. The sun light up like a halo behind his shiny golden horn. It was beautiful Charr with a long golden horn in the middle of his helmet. With a name like Sinn, he was a bad boy for sure! "Ouuuuuuuu...how are you doin?" Fanny said to him with a big smile and glowing eyes. He was so pretty she forgot about ole Whats-His-Name. She was in lust love. What could she do to make him love her she wondered? She went back to the Melandru Temple to pray.
And the story goes on..

Thank you beyond words for all of your contributions and creativity to this contest of Quaggan love!  Strix and I have spent much time behind closed doors with Myron deliberating who the winners would be.  Why behind closed doors you ask?  Because Myron wouldn't dare let the world know he had a tear in his eye and a lump in his throat.  Through all of your efforts, Myron is on the path of finding a soft spot in his heart for our dear Quaggan friends.  I do believe his heart has grown three sizes bigger through this contest and the Quaggans of whooooooooville (quaggan pun intended) sing jubilantly of the newly found Myron.  When it came down to the final decision, with many tears and sobbing of Quaggan joy and love from Myron, it was decided there was a tie for first place!  Ithy and Zephyr are the winners of the Quaggan love contest; both are first place winners and each will receive the contest prize   .  

Quaggan contest prize:  10 gold, 5 unidentified dyes, and one GLORIOUS Quaggan backpack.

PS - If Myron is a little less active in game, just check one of the Quaggan villages; I think he's taken a particular fondness to Coral diving....uhhhh, sure Myron, it's all for the Coral  .
