Lottery for the week ending Dec 7, 2014

Welcome to another edition of the Ankh weekly lottery!

Sadly, Lisa is too upset to do the weekly lottery this week. Yes, it's all Betty's fault for talking me into spending the money I was saving for Lisa's Christmas present on a new motherboard instead. I was being so good until Betty starting hyping up those Black Friday sales and telling me how awesome the board was that he found. I couldn't resist the sales pitch and finally caved in and ordered it.

Don't y'all worry though, Lisa will still get a Christmas present, just not a really good one like I had planned. Bad Betty, BAD! #BlameBetty

Entering this weeks lottery will be easy:

1. Tell me your account name or character name so I can send your prize if your win.

2. Pick a whole number between 1 - 100 and put it in your post.

3. Tell me how we should punish Betty for making Lisa sad.

The lottery winner will receive 25 gold along with an assortment of exotics you may use, sell, or salvage.

There will be a bonus 10 gold prize given to the person who comes up with the bestest, most original, most creative punishment for Betty.

The drawing will be held Dec 7th (a day that shall live in infamy) immediately before the guild events start.

Now, let's get those entries going so that maybe we can come up with a punishment that will make Lisa smile again...

Betty Upset Lisa....there is no punishment too strict. I believe that we should ban Betty from working his corner for a month and paying Myron back the money he would have made Had he worked his corner so he can buy Lisa a really awesome present to make up for it...

I'm not so sure we should be picking a punishment for Betty. The way I see it, the only thing Betty did was be a savvy shopper and spot a good deal and share it with Myron. This is no crime. It was Myron who CHOSE to spend his money that way. Betty didn't force him. I think maybe Myron needs to spend a little time in the corner, thinking about something I call "personal responsibility". Like my kids know...no one can FORCE you to do anything. So own up Myron! It was YOUR decision to spend your money that way!

I kind of think Leigh has a point about Myron needing to take responsibility....but I can't resist a chance to punish Betty. I think Bela's idea is awesome, but on top of that I think we should require Betty to be fully clothed at all times for the coming month. No skin showing except for the face. Mwauhahaha!

As for punishment, make Betty write a 100 page paper on "The origins of the corner", upon completion, Betty must read it out loud to an audience and for the amount of times the letter T is spoken in any word, there must be a list of lame puns that will be told to Betty (for each of these letter occurrences). Everyone hates lame puns!

Well Zeph, if we spike Betty's perfume with bacon oil, it will have the hilarious result of Brad following him around, sniffing him...maybe trying to cook him on that cast-iron skillet. So not bad

But I think we should make Betty go back to playing WoW for a month. Also, confiscate his folders...he's blackmailing me.
