ooooo, I have so many favorite words! Sometimes, I just quietly sit and read the dictionary so I can learn new words. If more people would do that then we could finally eschew obfuscation and espouse elucidation in both our written and vocal communications. However, you asked me for my favorite word, which I should probably provide, rather than incessantly, and redundantly, rambling whilst contemplating my preferred single distinct meaningful element of speech or writing.

I particularly enjoy words that can be misused in unique and terrifying ways. An example would be my word of the day, which today is abysmal as in "I have an abysmal sense of humor"

My two favorite words would be: Witch, and, Trout. they both have the same meaning, a very unpleasant woman. (I'm not kidding, look it up in the dictionary )

In all seriousness, it's almost impossible for me to choose a 'favourite' word as there are so many and I'm coming across new words all the time.

However, an interesting word for this exercise is "SKULDUGGERY".

Meaning: underhand, unscrupulous, or dishonest behaviour or activities.
"a firm that investigates commercial skulduggery"
