| Hello fellow Ankhies
I have a little thinking puzzle contest to torture you with.
There are ten questions - each question is worth 2 gold for a correct answer. The first correct answer to each question wins the gold, so if you get one right, then you get two gold, two right = 4 gold, and so on. Prizes will be awarded on a first correct answer basis. So if you don't know them all, just answer the ones you think you do.
The comp runs from the 1st of April to the 26th - which is the exact length of time that I'll be on holidays and won't be around to take any abuse for this!
Question 1: What is twice the half of 1 3/7ths?
Question 2: If two peacocks lay two eggs in two days, how many eggs can one peacock lay in four days?
Question 3: How many cubic feet of earth are there in a hole measuring 3 feet wide by 4 feet long by 5 feet deep?
Question 4: Do you know how long cows should be milked?
Question 5: Where was Queen Cleopatra's temple?
Question 6: In what month do Americans eat the least?
Question 7: How many marbles can you put in an empty bag?
Question 8: The greengrocer stands 6 feet tall, has a 46 inch chest, and wears size 12 shoes. What do you think he weighs?
Question 9: If a duck came paddling down the Nile, where would it have come from?
Question 10: How long will a seven day grandfather clock run without winding?
Ok have at it! If you get them all first you get 20 gold and if anyone is particularly creative with their answers, there may be other prizes up for grabs.

Question 2: If two peacocks lay two eggs in two days, how many eggs can one peacock lay in four days? Enough for a HUGE omelette?
Question 3: How many cubic feet of earth are there in a hole measuring 3 feet wide by 4 feet long by 5 feet deep? Are we measuring for an Asuran casket?
Question 4: Do you know how long cows should be milked? References a hayseed dixie song, 73 minutes

Question 6: In what month do Americans eat the least? January because they all try and pretend to stick to their new years resolutions

| Oh BOY THESE KINDA QUESTIONS ARE MY FAVOURITE! I put my answers in spoilers. Question 1: What is twice the half of 1 3/7ths? - Spoiler:
1 3/7ths
Question 2: If two peacocks lay two eggs in two days, how many eggs can one peacock lay in four days? - Spoiler:
Peacocks don't lay eggs, peahens do.
Question 3: How many cubic feet of earth are there in a hole measuring 3 feet wide by 4 feet long by 5 feet deep? - Spoiler:
Its a hole. None. Or very little aerosolized by the shovel if its fresh.
Question 4: Do you know how long cows should be milked? - Spoiler:
Same as a short cow. Bucket and squeeze the udder.
Question 5: Where was Queen Cleopatra's temple? - Spoiler:
Side of her head, same as everyone else.
Question 6: In what month do Americans eat the least? - Spoiler:
February, shortest month. 300 mil people missing a full day is likely going to outstrip any other abnormal diet variation.
Question 7: How many marbles can you put in an empty bag? - Spoiler:
One. Then the bag is no longer empty, thus no more marbles.
Question 8: The greengrocer stands 6 feet tall, has a 46 inch chest, and wears size 12 shoes. What do you think he weighs? - Spoiler:
Meat. Produce. Same as most grocers.
Question 9: If a duck came paddling down the Nile, where would it have come from? - Spoiler:
So is this one of those "RIDE THE DUCKS" tours? Those are made in Atlanta, GA (Yeah, I googled that). Otherwise, I'm going to say a mommy duck and a daddy duck who love each other very much. And the details beyond that get a bit... unsettling. Go ahead. Look it up. But don't say I didn't warn you.
Question 10: How long will a seven day grandfather clock run without winding? - Spoiler:
Ok, this one I'm not 100% sure on. Proper grandfather clocks aren't wound, they run on a weight system, not a spring system. So none. No days. Cause you have to lift the weights. Even if it is a spring, unwound it has no power. So still none.

| Question 1: What is twice the half of 1 3/7ths? 1 3/7ths
Question 2: If two peacocks lay two eggs in two days, how many eggs can one peacock lay in four days? It varies. Unless peacocks give birth. I don't think they do. Anyway. Do the two peacocks lay two eggs in two days split betwixt them? So one peacock lays two and other other as well, or did one lay 3 and the other only 1. oh god why.
Question 3: How many cubic feet of earth are there in a hole measuring 3 feet wide by 4 feet long by 5 feet deep? The hole is empty!
Question 4: Do you know how long cows should be milked? Only as long as the calf wants to suck on an udder.
Question 5: Where was Queen Cleopatra's temple? Where they praise her.
Question 6: In what month do Americans eat the least? None, we're fat af.
Question 7: How many marbles can you put in an empty bag? None, if you want the bag to be empty.
Question 8: The greengrocer stands 6 feet tall, has a 46 inch chest, and wears size 12 shoes. What do you think he weighs? Mmmmm. He sexy sexy.
Question 9: If a duck came paddling down the Nile, where would it have come from? The north.
Question 10: How long will a seven day grandfather clock run without winding? None. it has to be wound to run at all.

| Question 1: What is twice the half of 1 3/7ths? A: 1 3/7ths. Or about 1.4285714286.
Question 2: If two peacocks lay two eggs in two days, how many eggs can one peacock lay in four days? A: Trick question, peahens lay eggs. Peacocks do not.
Question 3: How many cubic feet of earth are there in a hole measuring 3 feet wide by 4 feet long by 5 feet deep? A: Another one. Holes don't have dirt in them. This hole you speak of was 60 cubic feet of dirt before it became a hole.
Question 4: Do you know how long cows should be milked? A: Yes I do. Zero days, and zero times. Cows should not be milked, it's not a requirement of them being cows. They can be milked for a long time, though.
Question 5: Where was Queen Cleopatra's temple? A: She never made a temple.
Question 6: In what month do Americans eat the least? A: February, since it has 28 (29) days.
Question 7: How many marbles can you put in an empty bag? A: Zero...if you add a marble, it becomes a bag with a marble in it, not an empty bag.
Question 8: The greengrocer stands 6 feet tall, has a 46 inch chest, and wears size 12 shoes. What do you think he weighs? A: Fruits and vegetables.
Question 9: If a duck came paddling down the Nile, where would it have come from? A: A cartoon, since they don't live that far south, and can't paddle anything with their wings.
Question 10: How long will a seven day grandfather clock run without winding? A: Zero days, it hasn't been wound. You could also say zero miles, because it can operate, but it can't run, if it doesn't have legs.
