1. What is your favorite playstyle and why? (ie PvE/PvP/WvW/RP)
My favorite playstyle is Roleplay (RP). RPing puts you into the perspective of your character, and it allows you to get a feel for the world of Tyria. It's kinda hard for me to describe why I love it so much. It's sort of like acting, except instead of someone giving you your character, you create the character's personality yourself. It also helps you learn a lot about the lore of the game, which is awesome IMO. On a side note, there is such a thing as family-friendly RP! My guild does that sort, so if anyone's interested in lamping (Watching the RP, but not actually being in it in-character), please feel free to ask!

2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why?
My favorite non-playable race is Skritt. The way they talk is hilarious!

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?
My favorite city is the Grove, PvE-wise. As for RP-wise, I like Rata Sum the best, though there's not usually very much RP going on there.

My favorite song of the moment? "Melodies of Life" by Nabuo Uematsu.

I believe the last one I saw was the 2nd Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I thought it was awful. But then again, I think all the Michael Bay Transformers movies are awful XD. I don't remember anything about the concessions, since I wasn't the one to pay for them. As for the loud people, I don't remember. I haven't been to a movie theatre in aeons!

PvE. Guild Wars 2 was my first real dedication to an MMO. I had played Final Fantasy XI for a short stretch because an ex dragged me into it. Anyway, I was overwhelmed by GW2 at first; but once I got the hang of things (that's right--I didn't need the stupid NPE...anyone with half a brain doesn't need it) I was instantly addicted. It was so exciting to explore a new world, and I couldn't wait to see everything. I was SO engrossed that I dropped my p90x routine and gained some weight. Nothing beats tackling an obstacle with friends.

...unless it comes in the form of PvP. Bela, Dukesy, Rubi--I hope you don't take it personally when I turn down the PvP/WvW events. I'm a very non-competitive, non-confrontational type. And PvP stuff makes me anxious. Very uncomfortably and unpleasantly so. Yeah, I avoid it like the plague. At least PvP I will. WvW (specifically EOTM) I'm more receptive to.

Roleplaying I actually wouldn't mind trying. Juju, I think you, Lala and I should still troll some of the RPers. In a friendly way, of course. Although I don't really see the point of it in a game like this...with such limited tools for RPing.

Probably Divinity's Reach. I've always been fascinated with medieval times and huge castles (among many other things). DR is especially cool because not only is the castle connected to the residences; it's surrounded by them in a uniform circle.

Avengers - Age of Ultron. I loved it, but I'm biased because I was way into comic books before. This will shock people, but I never bother with concessions while I'm watching a movie in the theater. Being overpriced is just one of the reasons. There ARE no loud people at the theaters I go to because I pick the ones where I can avoid the rabble.

Well, Myron was obviously raised by a family of otters in the Great Dismal Swamp. And no amount of soap, scrubbing or caustic cleaners can get that swamp smell out at this point.

1. What is your favorite playstyle and why? (ie PvE/PvP/WvW/RP)

I'm a solid PvE player with a touch of RP tossed in. I love the PvE environment because I enjoying exploring. This game is rich in detail and the graphics are amazing. It seems I am constantly running into something new in this game that I haven't seen before. I particularly enjoying finding those places and things in the game that link back to GW1. As for the RP aspect, each of my characters are unique not only in their play style but in how they interact with both the story and the NPC's in the game.

2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why?

I like Quaggons because they are so tasty, especially with bbq sauce. They're also good marinaded in teriyaki.

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?

DR - I love Divinity's Reach! Most of y'all know that's where you'll find me hanging out. I love the layout of the city and how it's easy to find everything.

I don't have a single favorite color. There are too many to pick from! Plus it depends on my mood at the moment.

Anything by Hayseed Dixie

I rarely see movies in theatres. I usually wait for the movies to be released on DVD, Netflix, Amamzon Prime, etc and then watch them at home where I can be relaxed, eat my own cheap concessions, and drink rum.

My favorite playstyle is PvE, with some PvP if I'm in the mood for it! I've always enjoyed MMO's for the content they provide, and Guild Wars is a nice refreshed version of that.


2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why?
My favorite non-playable race is the Quaggan. Because they've got a creepy, crazy dark side to them when they get mad... and I think ArenaNet missed an opportunity for some kind of Hulk pun

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?
I think that my favorite city is either Lion's Arch or Rata Sum. Lion's Arch has a free and open feel to it, hopefully going to be even stronger with the upcoming rebuilding of the city, and Rata Sum's fusion of science and magic is so interesting and incredible to me, the vibe there is just plain cool.

IRL Questions:

1. What is your favorite color?
My favorite color is blue.

2. What is your favorite song of the moment?
My favorite song at the moment, hmmm that's a REALLY tough one. At this very second, it is "Evaporate" by Trivecta.

3. What was the last movie you saw in theatres? Was the movie good? How overpriced were the concessions? Were the people there too loud? Were you one of those loud people?
The last movie I saw in theatres was Kingsman:The Secret Service. Movie was hilarious and quite good. I'm the kind of guy who brings his own concessions sometimes although, no the inhouse concessions aren't bad at all.
People were'nt too loud, Atlanta's a nice place for movies.

Well, I think that Myron plays in the swamps because he's trying to reconnect with his ancestors, the great Myronese people of North Carolina.

I really enjoy PvE, and that is what I typically pursue in any mmo I play. I love seeing the story line, and how the characters evolve from their trials.

Hmm, from what I have seen I'm torn between the Skritt, and the Quagann, but I'll have to chose the latter because they are so unasuming, and cute - unless of course you happen to get on their bad side.

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?

I used to love Lion's Arch, but then it went and got bombs dropped on it, but for now I'd have to say The Grove, because of the abundance of nature, though I am eagerly awaiting the reveal of the new and improved LA.

Blue! All shades.

Right now I'm currently slightly obbessed with the song Tragedy + Time by Rise Against. Only slightly though!

Avengers: Age of Ultron - It was an amazing movie, and I can't wait until I can see it again. Considering I went on the premiere night, it wasn't too loud actually! I was surprised. I'd hope I wasn't one of the louder people. As for concessions, they were very expensive, at least in my book - though I tend to bring a drink and chips with me.

For me, I'd say PvE. I was always a fan of perfecting builds in PvE in gw1, and it carried over to gw2. There's so many aspects to discover, secrets to find, places to explore. Always something new to see everyday.

2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why?

Kodan because DA BEARS

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?

Rata Sum, it is rather easy to navigate, it also spells Mursaat if you move the letters around.

IRL Questions:

1. What is your favorite color?

Orange, usually fall colours like this too. I like bright colours. Reminds me of hot weather.

2. What is your favorite song of the moment?

Most songs from Kan R. Gao. Made the music and created the games "To the moon" and "A bird's story". Both games have beautiful music and stories, but some of my favourites are "For river (Johnny's version) (To the moon) and the ending theme.

Last movie I saw was San Andreas, it was action packed so it was pretty good. Aren't all concessions overprices . No loud people, and no I was not, if there were none :l.

Myron likes to play in swamps because how else can one find a good supply of materials for awesome boots! As for the bath part, only time will tell, cause I know most people are ... "Swamped" with work. :U

I like PvE the best as I love exploring and opening up the maps (can't wait for this aspect of HoT) - and I like the group atmosphere of seeing other people doing different things, joining together to do things and just chopping down the same tree hehe. The PvE maps are simply gorgeous!

2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why?

I really enjoy the Kodan - I like their bear-ness and also their philosophies about life, love, unity and peace.


3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?

Before the destruction of LA, Divinity's Reach was my fave as it's layout I find fascinating. I also find many things to continually explore within it - houses, rooms, gardens, quiet places to chill and be alone. I also really enjoy the long lanes from the entrance, which remind me of the mediaevil close and vaults in England/Scotland etc (like Mary King's Close).

My favourite colour is purple of many shades, followed closely be Teal.

I listen to so much music, this is an impossible question, however, the one I am currently hitting the repeat for this week is: The Wire by HAIM

I'm not quite sure what a "concession" is, but from reading others' responses I'm thinking it is the snacks. So they are always overpriced, but it is the only time I ever buy popcorn, and if you ever come with me, get your own popcorn cos you are not getting a single one of mine! I hardly ever go to the cinema, so I'd be guessing that maybe the last Harry Potter Movie was the one I seen, or maybe it was one of the Hunger Games ones, hard to recall now. Couldn't have been that good cos I can't remember the ending nor the movie I saw - but then again I never remember movies once they are over. Don't remember there being any loudmouthed ppl at the cinema, ppl here are pretty good. And no I'm not one of those loud ppl unless I am at The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

It's obvious isn't it? Myron likes to play in the swamp because he has a hidden still down there where he makes his own hundred proof rum out of frog skin. And I will gladly give him a bath - I have a raggedy pot-scourer, steel wool and a handy product that removes calcium, lime and rust build up; plus afterwards I have some lovely smelling essential oils blended with almond oil, so I can give him a nice after-scent and massage (he will have earned that with all that scrubbing). Did I mention that I am a professional masseuse and know all the torture moves?

Hmmm. I think I like them all, and all for different reasons. PVP for the stomp rage. PVE for world events/bosses/community. WVW... Well. Actually I don't really like WVW. Ha.

PvE. I really enjoy the graphics in the game. I love pairing up with guildies and doing things. I realize you CAN pair up with others and PvP or WvW, but I prefer to run from enemies and not look like the worlds biggest wuss. Also, I tend to stay alive longer in PvE.


2. Favorite non-playable race

I have never given this any thought before. I guess I would lean toward Skritt, because we have a mutual love for shinnies. However, they look a little too closely related to rodents, to really say I'd want to spend any amount of time with them.

3. Favorite Major City in Tyria

Divinity's Reach. It's just beautiful. If anyone knows of a place in our world that looks like that, let me know so I can move there. I'm pretty optomistic about Lion's Arch rebuilt though.

Yeah, this changes all the time. I just love music so much. Currently listening to Lana Del Rey "Video Games"

3. Last movie seen in theatres

Ahem...Penguins of Madagascar (not by choice). It was okay for a kids movie. I might have laughed a couple times. I have no idea what the concessions cost, I always walk right by. Given it was a kids movie and the theatre was packed with children...yes, it was loud. We were probably the quietest in the theatre.

1. What is your favorite playstyle and why? (ie PvE/PvP/WvW/RP)
As a new player, I'm still getting the "flavor" of all of them. I was really into PvP in GW1, but I normally do PvE in other MMOs. I really, really like WvW. RP sounds fun in GW, especially with all the cool clothing and what-not! So far, I love the PvE. But, it is yet to be determined what my favorite playstyle is!

2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why?
Skritt! I love how the act and react, and being smarter in a group is an interesting racial feature (thing?) I want to help them hunt for shinies!

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?
They're all so grand and immersive, it's hard to pick! I love the architecture of Divinity's Reach, but the Black Citadel has that awesome post-apocalyptic, blood and iron theme going for it. I would have to pick Divinity's Reach, it's so massive!

IRL Questions:

P-p-p-p-purple! (Normally accompanied by black.)

Hot Pursuit. It was hilarious, I normally only watch horror movies, but it was a nice change! I live in a small town, so everything is cheap, including concession food. Besides the laughter, nobody was loud. I don't think I was laughing too loud ._.

A:The Borg - because they have not assimilated me yet

A: Avengers, Age of Ultron and the movie was awesome Not sure about the concessions as I am one of those evil people that brings my own candy in to the theatre. The people were very well behaved in the theatre.

Game-Related Questions:

1. What is your favorite playstyle and why?
PvE, mostly because I'm horrible at everything else. That and I really do enjoy mapping, even though I've done it on lots and lots of toons.

2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why?
Oh wow, this one is hard. Both the Largos and Tengu fascinate me because I really don't know much about them, but they seem totally awesome

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why?
I think the Grove is absolutely gorgeous, but I tend to spend more time in DR

Green

I hate just picking one, but you can go read this blog post I wrote about some of my current favorites if you really want to know. I'm too lazy to pick just one of them now.

Pitch Perfect 2. I really enjoyed it. I normally just don't get concessions because they are overpriced, but I went right after work and was hungry, so I bought some. So ridiculously pricey. I sat at the end of the group of people I went with, and the people on the other side of me were annoyingly loud all through the previews, luckily they quieted down once the actual movie started.

I have no idea, but I'll just stay as far away from that stench as possible.

Does dancing in DR talking to guildies count as a play style?

2. What is your favorite non-playable race and why? Tengu vs quaggan... i can not decide. Why? tengu-cause I like bird people. Quaggan-cause i like cuteness!

3. What is your favorite Major City in Tyria (ie Lion's Arch, Divinity's Reach, The Grove etc..) and why? I love Lions arch because it has a long history all the way back to gw1 and I love that Anet is changing it around; makes it so dynamic. Also if you have read the books, you know that it is sort of a mish mosh of all the races, traders, merchants, sailors, explorers... free people living together. I just like the idea of it.

2. What is your favorite song of the moment? it's called meridian, by Topaz. But I change constantly.

Um I can't remember the last movie i went to see... how sad is that?

Fav play style:
Pve - i love the cinematics of the vistas, the graphics are awesome and the mega events like teq.

Fav Npc race:
The Largos- they are sooooo mysterious

Fav major city:
Lion's Arch- my favorite thing about it was the original lion statue.

Fav color:
ORANGE.

Fav song(s) for the moment:
Come As You Are and I Am by Crowder (Christian Contemporary)

The latest movie i watched:
Jurassic World, it was awesome - and the concession prices where we went were perfect, it was a good crowd and i was not one of the loud ones, we all responded were the movie presented response.

As for the bonus question:
Myron likes the swamp because of the gators he found there and made pets out of them...and don't fight it, just decorate him a plot of land into a swamp in one corner of the guild hall and he'll be happy. Just pay heed to his sign he'll put up "ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK".

I prefer PvE because I like a story more than pure combat.

Nothing can top Divinity's Reach. It is so beautiful and regal.

We went to see Love and Mercy, a biopic of Brian Wilson (from The Beach Boys). Saw it at a small art-house theater with very well behaved people.

PvE because my personality reflects my playing style - casual person, casual gamer and if I decide to bail then it doesn't affect anyone else.

Skritt I guess, because they know what they want and they go for it.

I would have said DR mainly because the banks, TP and crafting aren't too far away from each other however the New and Improved LA is fantastic...I just love it

It's probably been over a year since I went to the cinema and I honestly can't remember what I saw....it must have been good
Personally, going to the movies hasn't been memorable since the 80's & 90's and the Drive-In was the place to go.....didn't even have to watch the movie
