Best class & weapon Combo!

This is a contest to prove that your favorite Class & Weapon combo is the best. all you need to do is...


1. leave a character name so i can find and give you the reward for winning.
2. tell me the combo.

And finally

3. give the reasons/ generally try to prove its the best!

anything can prove it but if you havent done it dont say it... if you cant do it in game it doesnt count... so no engi sword combos...

as there are different types of things for both Engineer and Elementalist i will allow you to add kits and elements respectively instead of the weapon.

as for the reward it shall be 15 gold... have fun trying to prove yours is the best...

and again anything goes... abilities will not count... so no ice bow, turrets, ect...

My only concern with this is you have a lot of people who only do PvE and those skills you named (turrets, summoned weapons, etc) can be a main part of their build. Now, I'm not saying to change this, I just wanted to bring this up.

hmmm very good point... but all i wanted was the class and weapon

if it is part of your build but not one of the weapons abilities you can totally say so... but just make sure it says that its not one of the weapons abilities.

1.) Thorn Shadowstep
2.) Thief with Pistol/Dagger combo
3.) Because I can stay at range and dodge all the things, and use a tactical shadowstepping retreat (forget the skill name, but it's the third skill with the combo) whenever I jump up to steal.

3)Because I can use it as a ranged weapon.. and a melee weapon by dropping firefields on myself for area might Its the best

3. Cause in my human female ranger... number 5 skill makes this AWESOME looking twirly wirly move where she swings her two axes around in the air in this big circle... like umm.... like some crazy baton waving ninja magician !!!

I agree with Strix on the ranger off hand axe but I prefer to pair it with a sword rather than another axe. In many ways my ranger is a better melee fighter than my guardian because of this combo.

I would have to say mesmer with greatsword. I'm saying this because the great sword literally can do a little bit of everything. The first skill is a really good, simple ranged that does more damage the farther you are. The second skill is a throw that jumps between multiple foes and gives you a boon. Whilst it also has a skill with aoe targetting, a phantasm which does CRAZY amounts of damage and lastly a push back skill that is always good with interrupting

Warrior Hammer. Good dmg output with great crowd control skills and if worked right, can be a decent stunlock

I think an Human Ranger is the best becuase whatever you chose (commenner,nobel or streetvolk) it will not be the same. I really like that.
I think the best weopon combo is an longbow and greatsword becuase you can have long rang and then if you need it you also hav an greater DMG with the greatsword.
